Clinical Excellence with a Smile
“I was majoring in chemistry at Villanova University when my path turned to chiropractic. I was going on interviews to be a pharmaceutical sales representative, and they always asked me what I wanted to be doing in five years. My answer was always the same: “I want to be helping people, enjoying my work, while making a difference.”
“I had met some chiropractors that truly enjoyed what they did and loved their work. I was so amazed by the concept of helping people just by using your hands. It was then I decided to apply to chiropractic college.”
Sports, Stage, and Movie Sets
Dr. Quigley also has adjusted many top-performing celebrities, including members of the Eagles, Duran Duran, Die Antwoord, players on the Red Sox, Cleveland Cavaliers, Boston Marathon, and worked on several movie sets, most recently for the movie Central Intelligence.
Chiropractic Training
Dr. Chris attended New York Chiropractic College. While there, he learned many chiropractic techniques to help a wide spectrum of people.

Looking for a Boston chiropractor focused on conservative, drug-free spine care? At Charles Street Family Chiropractic in Beacon Hill, Dr. Chris Quigley helps patients with back pain, neck pain, sciatica, disc problems, and recurring spinal conditions. Chiropractic care can support mobility, function, and active living while reducing reliance on medications and invasive procedures. Even major medical centers, including the University of South Florida Neurosurgery program, are integrating chiropractic care into collaborative spine treatment and research.
A 2015 MRI study found signs of alar ligament injury in 55% of older patients whose chronic neck pain had no other identifiable cause. For Boston and Massachusetts personal injury attorneys, that finding speaks to a familiar problem: the client who still hurts months after a car crash, but whose standard imaging reads as “normal” or “age-related degeneration.”
The number that should stop every elective-surgery patient in their tracks is 94%. In a large 2017 Journal of Pain Research study of 1,842 people who had undergone lumbar spine surgery, 94% reported some degree of residual low-back pain. That does not mean 94% had severe pain, nor does it mean 94% of the operations were surgical failures. But for an invasive procedure that many patients understandably hope will eliminate their back pain, the persistence of any low-back pain in such a large proportion of respondents is difficult to dismiss. The same study found that 20.6% met the researchers’ criteria for failed back surgery syndrome —roughly one out of every five patients. Residual numbness was reported by 69.8%, cold sensations by 43.3%, and paresthesia such as tingling or abnormal sensations by 35.3%.
The medical literature recognizes restraint-related injuries to the spine and abdominal structures. Rutherford documented the increase in neck sprains and sternum fractures following compulsory seat-belt use and separately identified an apparent, unexpected increase in abdominal-organ injuries. Later medical literature continued to emphasize the significance of the seat-belt sign and its association with internal injury.
When a person is injured in a motor vehicle crash, the physical evidence of what happened can sometimes be found directly on the body. One of the most important examples is the seat belt sign—a visible bruise, abrasion, or patterned injury corresponding to the path of the restraint. For attorneys handling Boston and Massachusetts motor vehicle injury cases, a documented seat-belt mark can be important evidence because it shows that substantial restraint forces were actually transmitted through the occupant’s body.

Love coming here - it is like a second family! Everyone is so kind, and they really explain your case to you, educate you on how a healthy spine looks like, and then build a solid plan to get you better. This is my weekly routine, coming here, feeling better, feeling happy. A very comprehensive evaluation with Dr. Chris. Clearly explained the assessment findings, treatment plan, and insurance coverage/billing. The scheduling is very easy and appointments are efficient. I feel relief with each visit and the music in the office is a great touch. The only thing that could be improved are early or late hours to accommodate healthcare worker schedules'...7a to 7p.

I highly trust and recommend Charles Street Family Chiropractic to my family + friends. I have been a patient since 2023. The team here has genuinely helped me heal severe spine pain & return to a better pain-free quality of life with my spine.
The entire team here at Charles Street Family Chiropractic is knowledgeable, reliable, patient, trustworthy, helpful & friendly every visit I’ve had since 2023!
The office has truly provided relief to my spinal / neck injury + pain I was suffering from before I started my care plan with the team here leading me to a now pain-free life the vast majority of days
Dr. Chris & Dr. Kelly in addition to the entire helpful care team assisted me to identify injuries causing my severe back & neck pain plus limiting my mobility which all started after I had been involved in a car crash in 2023.
Carefully looking at my imaging Dr. Chris & the team recommended a range of non-invasive treatments including physical therapy exercises in combination with chiropractic adjustments. The team also incorporated Spinal Decompression sessions & laser therapy atop other helpful non-invasive relief-providing treatments that aided my body to heal & strengthen to where I was before my injury.
Thankful this practice exists to help me & other patients reduce pain levels and return to life pain free again with non-invasive options!
Parts of my life I have been able to return to with significantly lower to zero pain levels & improved mobility than when I first started treatment for my injury include everyday things such as being a Dad to help care for my partner and our toddler + dog at home, work as a private chef / ride share driver, play tennis, go for runs, hike & walk my dog all thanks to the care at Charles Street Family Chiropractic!

I've been going to Dr.Quigley, at Charles street, family, Chiropractic, for 34 years, under doctor quigley's care i am 70, but my body like it's 40. To all the years there were times where I could hardly straighten out my lower back. And with a few adjustments , I walked out of their feeling like brand new. No one has to walk around with back pain or neck pain etc. That is not quality of life, I highly recommend Chiropractic treatment.
