One such solution is the Pro-Lordotic Neck Exerciser, a remarkable device that Charles Street Family Chiropractic employs to aid in the correction of spine-related problems. In this blog post, we will explore how this progressive resistance neck exercise device is utilized to enhance spinal health, posture, and alleviate common issues like neck pain and headaches.

The Pro-Lordotic Neck Exerciser: An Overview

The Pro-Lordotic Neck Exerciser is a unique and effective tool that plays a crucial role in helping individuals correct their spinal alignment. This progressive resistance neck exercise device is designed to traction the normal lordosis into the cervical spine while performing active extension exercises throughout the cervical spine. This technique is performed during a five-minute structural/postural corrective session, either at home or in the office.

Benefits of the Pro-Lordotic Neck Exerciser:

Rehabilitative Stretching: One of the standout features of the Pro-Lordotic Neck Exerciser is its ability to provide a strong rehabilitative stretch to the anterior cervical structures. This feature is particularly beneficial for individuals with thinning degenerated discs. The device helps to break up scar tissue and encourages these discs to absorb surrounding blood and rehydrate, contributing to their overall health and function.

Strengthening the Cranial-Cervical Flexors: Research has shown that strengthening the deep anterior cranial-cervical flexors can significantly improve head posture and reduce chronic neck pain and headaches. The Pro-Lordotic Neck Exerciser is designed to target and strengthen these essential muscles, offering relief to those dealing with these common discomforts.

I was going on interviews to be a pharmaceutical sales representative, and they always asked me what I wanted to be doing in five years. My answer was always the same: “I want to be helping people, enjoying my work, while making a difference.”

Before Back Surgery: What Three Important Studies Say About Nonsurgical Spinal Decompression

The number that should stop every elective-surgery patient in their tracks is 94%.
In a large 2017 Journal of Pain Research study of 1,842 people who had undergone lumbar spine surgery, 94% reported some degree of residual low-back pain. That does not mean 94% had severe pain, nor does it mean 94% of the operations were surgical failures. But for an invasive procedure that many patients understandably hope will eliminate their back pain, the persistence of any low-back pain in such a large proportion of respondents is difficult to dismiss.
The same study found that 20.6% met the researchers’ criteria for failed back surgery syndrome —roughly one out of every five patients. Residual numbness was reported by 69.8%, cold sensations by 43.3%, and paresthesia such as tingling or abnormal sensations by 35.3%.
